Migraine Cap with Slide-Up Eye Mask — Hot & Cold, 360° Compression
360° compression and hot or cold therapy in an ultra-soft cap with a sliding eye mask. Your relief, your way.
What's inside the Sorluma migraine cap
Some days your head just won't let up: the light hurts, every sound feels heavy, and all you want is a quiet corner. Sorluma was made for exactly that moment.
It's a therapeutic cap in ultra-soft knit that wraps your whole head in gentle, even 360° compression. Wear it cold, for that immediate wave of relief across your forehead and temples, or warm, when what you need is to release the tension the day has piled up.
Its built-in sliding eye mask is what sets it apart: slide it down and you're in complete darkness; slide it up and you can keep reading, working or watching TV without taking it off. You decide how much light you want, moment to moment.
No cords, no pills, no refills to buy. Take it out, put it on, done.

Will it fit my head?
One size, in a stretch knit that adapts to most head shapes. It fits most adult head shapes and sizes without squeezing, and there are no buckles or rigid parts, so you can lie down and sleep on your side.
Wearing it with thick, long or braided hair
The cap goes on over your hair, not under it. With long hair, a low bun at the nape sits most comfortably under the back of the cap; a high bun pushes out through the opening at the crown, which is what that gap is for.
Size and weight refer to the complete package as shipped.
Using it cold
Keep it in the freezer inside its bag. Once you put it on you'll get around 20 minutes of deep cold and another 30-40 minutes of gentle cool, with no hard spots or icy patches. This is the go-to option for migraines, headaches, sinus pressure and puffy eyes.
Using it warm
About 30 seconds in the microwave is enough. Always check the temperature with your hand before putting it on, and if it needs more, heat it in short 10-second bursts. This is the option for tension, stress and that stiff feeling.
Cleaning and care
It's reusable and easy to clean. Follow the washing instructions in the included leaflet and let it air-dry flat, away from direct heat, so the fabric keeps its softness and stretch.
Tips for use
- Short, repeated sessions work better than one very long one.
- Don't apply it over irritated or broken skin.
- If it feels uncomfortable, too cold or too hot, take it off.
- Keep out of reach of young children.

What actually is a migraine cap?
A migraine cap is a soft cap with gel sewn inside it, made to sit on your head on its own. You freeze it or warm it, put it on, and it applies cold or heat around your forehead, temples and the back of your head without you holding anything.
How is a migraine cap different from just using an ice pack?
An ice pack covers one spot and needs a hand on it. The cap wraps the whole head at once, stays put when you move, and leaves both hands free. It also blocks light when you slide the mask down, which an ice pack cannot do.
How long does a migraine cap stay cold?
Worn on your head, about 20 minutes of deep cold and then 30 to 40 minutes of gentle cool.
Can you wear a migraine cap while you work?
Yes. Slide the mask up and you can read, work or watch a screen with the cold still on your forehead and temples. Slide it down when you want darkness.
Will a migraine cap fit over thick or braided hair?
Yes. It goes over your hair and the knit stretches. Long hair sits best in a low bun at the nape; the crown is open, so a high bun comes through the gap.
What is a good gift for someone who gets migraines?
Something they can use on a bad day without effort. The cap is one size, it does not need batteries or refills, and it has no added fragrance, which matters because scent is a trigger for a lot of people.
Will it fit my head size?
Yes. The fabric is stretchy and flexible, and adapts to most shapes and sizes without squeezing.
Can I see while I'm wearing it?
Absolutely. Slide the eye mask up to read, work or watch TV; slide it down whenever you want to block out the light completely.
How long until I feel it?
Most people feel the relief within the first few minutes of wearing it, especially when it's cold.
Is it an alternative to medication?
Sorluma is a wellness product that works through compression and hot or cold therapy. It doesn't replace any treatment or the advice of a healthcare professional.
Can it be washed?
Yes, it's reusable and easy to clean. Just follow the instructions in the included leaflet.
Can I sleep in it?
Yes. Plenty of people use it for naps or to fall asleep with the mask down.
What if it's not for me?
You have 30 days to return it. Write to us and we'll walk you through it.
Here's how it works, in under a minute
No complicated manuals, no cords. Get it ready, put it on and let the 360° compression do the rest.

-
2
Put it onIt settles onto your head on its own, with gentle, even pressure.

How long the migraine cap stays cold
In the clip, the cap is already on: a wide band of coral plush that wraps the forehead, temples and ears, with the embroidered pad resting up above the eyes. A hand reaches up, takes the lower edge of the pad and draws it straight down until it covers the eyes completely. Nose and mouth stay free. The head settles back into the pillow and the breathing slows. That is the whole routine — no straps, no buckles, no cables.
Worn on your head, the gel gives about 20 minutes of deep cold and then 30 to 40 minutes of gentle cool, with no hard spots or icy patches. If you want cold for longer, keep a second one in the freezer and swap.

A cold compress for headaches you don’t have to hold
Most people reading this have already tried the alternatives.
A bag of frozen peas slides off the moment you turn your head. An ice pack needs a hand on it — which means one hand permanently out of service, and no chance of falling asleep. A wet towel is comfortable for about four minutes and then it’s just a warm wet towel.
The cap solves the boring part of all three: it stays where you put it. You can lie down without holding anything. You can get up, walk to the kitchen, and it comes with you. You can answer an email with both hands.
| What matters | Ice pack or frozen peas | Sorluma cap |
|---|---|---|
| Hands free | No — needs one hand | Yes |
| Coverage | One spot at a time | Forehead, temples, back of head |
| Stays on when you move | No | Yes |
| Blocks light | No | Yes, with the mask down |
| Warms up too | No | Yes |
